It all began with a dream…

In 1970, W.W. (Win) Sanner began pursuing his dream of owning a company to provide for his family through sheer determination and hard work. His wife and four young children supported his vision for Sanner Pipe and Salvage. The family remained focused on his goal rather than on the reasons why or why not. Every day, Win Sanner continued to strive to make it happen—not out of fear that it wouldn't happen, but through sheer determination that it would. He survived the constant challenges of strong competitors with loyal workers who bought into his dream and hard work. His faithful wife, Johnnie, managed the cash flow activities to make do with meager money.

As Sanner Pipe and Salvage grew, so did the goals of the company. The legacy of Win Sanner was carried forward by his sons, Kenny and Larry, who grew up within the company. After Win Sanner's major heart surgery in 1996, Kenny and Larry took the reins of the company. Win had always envisioned his sons working together to ensure the company's success, but eventually, they diversified into different areas, and in 2011, Larry became the sole owner of Sanner Pipe & Salvage, a testament to the continuity and growth of the company.

In 2017, Larry expanded the scrap iron business by acquiring Yarmuk, Inc. in Lawton, Oklahoma. In 2024, Larry added the former Duncan Iron & Metal property to the Sanner Pipe & Salvage umbrella. This significant accomplishment brought Win's vision to completion because this is where he worked and began his vision for his company.

Larry continues Sanner Pipe's tradition of family inclusion within the company. Larry’s wife, Cindy offers her support with office management, compliance, and financial oversight.

Larry's oldest son, Jimmy Sanner, manages the Velma yard and Jimmy's son, Ryker, plans to someday take over ownership of the Sanner Pipe businesses. His nephew, Coby Brooksher, manages the Yarmuk yard, and thirteen-year employee Donnie Collins is the Duncan manager.
